Electric Underground
October 17 – underground King’s College Arts & Humanities Festival
Electric Underground – an electroacoustic trip within and beneath. Trio Aporia on the threshold as found object, occupies the unique acoustic space of Aldwych Underground Station. The performance will include two new works by Paul Whitty and Paul Newland, plus pieces composed for Aporia by Alan Williams (New Music North West Festival, 2013) and Neal Farwell (Rameau+new sonic worlds project, 2014), alongside ecosonic improvisation by Stephen Preston and acoustic works by renaissance composers,Sweelinck and Hume.
